Vascu-Touch

Laser Alternative

Vascutouch (vascular/skin blemish treatment)

Vascutouch treats common minor skin conditions on the surface of the skin. It treats these superficial irregularities rapidly. A topical anesthesia may be used for some skin treatments. $230 *complimentary touch up visit included *

Conditions treated w/ Vascutouch

Facial Spider Veins (Telangiectasia):

are small dilated blood vessels near the surface of the skin.

They can develop anywhere on the body but are commonly seen on the face around the nose, cheeks, and chin.

Blood Spots (Cherry Angiomas):

commonly found on the cheeks, nose, and chin. They are tiny red or purple “dots” and can be either flat or raised.

Skin Tags:

A skin tag is a small growth on the skin that is usually benign(harmless). It may have a short narrow stalk which connects it to the skin. They are usually small but may grow up to a half-inch long.

Skin tags are usually harmless and do not need treatment. A person may decide to have a skin tag removed if it is irritating them or they do not like the way it looks. If so the skin tag may be removed by:

  • Surgery: removed using a scalpel or surgical scissors.
  • Cryotherapy: freezing it.
  • Cauterization: burning it off.
  • Vascutouch

Milias:

Small white pearl looking balls that are just under the surface of the skin. These are actually small micro cyst’s that are filled with oil. If they have been in the skin a long time, they harden and will need to be treated with the VascuTouch.

Sebaceous Hyperplasia:

A bump that forms on the skin that leads to an over productive oil gland. These glands become enlarged and clogged and usually display a soft or firm rim with a depressed center. They can be white or yellow and are usually shiny. They can be single or in clusters. The symptoms of this condition are 1–5 mm papules on the skin, mainly on the forehead, nose and cheeks, and areas of the face that are very oily. The papules may be cauliflower-shaped

Closed Comedones (clogged Pores):

Treating an “undergrounder” early will bring it to the surface quickly or will dissolve it in the skin so it never comes to the surface. This is effective for treating those blemishes.

Cystic Pustule:

A pustule is a small elevation of the skin containing cloudy or purulent material. These can be either white or red.

Chloresterol Deposits (Xanthoma):

A deposit of yellowish cholesterol-rich material that can appear anywhere in the body in various states. They are cutaneous manifestations lipids that accumulate within the skin.

Actinic/Solar keratosis:

Patch of thick, scaly, or crusty skin. These growths are more common in fair-skinned people and those who are frequently in the sun. They usually form when skin gets damaged by ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun or indoor tanning beds. They may be dark, light, tan, pink, red, a combination of all these, or have the same color as the surrounding skin. They are commonly found on the face, ears, neck, scalp, chest, backs of hands, forearms, or lips

(these are pre-cancerous and have up to a 20% risk of progression to squamous cell carcinoma, so I would have them looked at by a dermatologist prior to treatment)

How does the Vascutouch work?

A combination of Direct Current and Radio Frequency ablation is used to coagulate the skin imperfection.

How many treatments will I need?

Usually one to two treatments are all that should be needed. I provide a complimentary follow up 4-6 weeks post the Initial treatment. If it is decided after that then a second round can be scheduled.

What can I expect after the treatment?

Immediately after slight inflammation and redness occurs. This could last for 24-48 hours. Darkening of the vascular blemishes can be expected for approximately 1 week. Gentle care is required in the area treated for several days following the treatment. Avoid excessive exercise, exfoliation, facial manipulations and temperature influxes (sauna). Topical skin irregularities can form a light crust or scab for several days up to a week after treatment. Skin tags will turn black and “Fall off’ within a week.

Vascutouch is an inexpensive way to treat minor skin surface irregularities. Radio Frequency technology is used to treat conditions such as: cystic and popular acne, clogged pores, cholesterol deposits, milia, cherry angiomas, facial spider veins and capillaries, small fibromas, and skin tags.

Before & After

Vascutouch Testimonials

Amber Self, And her team at Bloom Skin Spa are truly amazing!! I've gone to Bloom on several occasions and every time, left more than satisfied. Over a year ago, I struggled with embarrassing skin tags on my face, neck, arms, and chest. I was recommended to try Vascutouch. Vascutouch is a little hidden gem of a machine that completely banished my skin tags!! Within a couple weeks after the Vascutouch treatment, my skin tags fell off without notice and scarring! It did not hurt and having Amber administer the procedure was very relaxing!! 3/8/2015

I had a stubborn issue on my cheek that wasn't being addressed, until I was educated on the benefits of Vascutouch. After almost 2 years of being reminded of the the problem, it's finally been resolved!

I also had several other areas with varying issues that I hadn't even noticed, such as a few small Broken Capillaries, they are gone also.

I'm very pleased!

“Vascutouch and Ultherapy far exceeded my expectations. I’ve never been under anesthesia, or in the hospital and would never consider having surgery for cosmetic reasons. Bloom Skin Spa opened my eyes to the possibilities of getting incredible results without going under the knife. I am so pleased with the results - no down time, bruises, scars. And the results only seem to improve over time!”
